I was born and raised in Colombia, South America, where I received my medical degree.
I moved to the United States, via New York City, to complete the remainder of my extensive medical training. I then moved to Chicago, IL and started my professional medical career as a clinician and teacher. For almost 7 years, I managed a busy clinic in Chicago taking care of patients with diabetes, thyroid disorders, heart failure, hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, obesity and many other metabolic imbalances. At that time, I was the Associate Program Director for one of the largest residency programs in Chicago that taught and trained doctors in Internal Medicine.
Throughout the years, I have obtained numerous medical credentials, awards, professional recognitions and gained extensive experience at some of the country's leading health centers. After comprehensive teaching and research experience, I sought further training and became certified in weight loss therapy, the aesthetic use of Botox® Cosmetic, dermal fillers and other aesthetic procedures at institutions such as The American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, The American Association of Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery, and Empire Medical Training, among others. It became my goal to open and operate the finest MedSpa Clinic in Chicago.

12 years ago I opened HD MEDSPA, which is a state-of–the-art boutique facility, equipped with cutting edge aesthetic technologies. At the clinic, I carefully evaluate each patient's needs and custom design individualized programs with treatments, products and protocols. This level of detail allows my clients to efficiently optimize their appearance to reveal the best version of themselves through the use of intelligent choices and sound medical consultation. My clinic was designed to offer a beautiful, comfortable and relaxing environment for those seeking physician-grade individualized attention.
HD Medspa is very unique because in addition to the aesthetic technologies that are offered, I have also developed a comprehensive, state–of-the-art Age Management Program. This program combines bio-identical hormonal replacement therapy, preventive medicine, fitness counseling and weight loss/diet consultation. This program is designed to help patients with symptoms of menopause, andropause, decreased sexual drive, chronic fatigue, poor sleep, anxiety, etc. My background in internal medicine, in particular with diabetes mellitus and thyroid disorders motivated me to study and research hormonal replacement therapy to treat patients with age- related hormonal imbalances and help people feel healthier and younger.
